Hilary completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Victorian College of the Arts in 1992 with a major in drawing.
She experiments with different media on paper with the aim of viewing ordinary things in a new light. Her compositions are developed from observations of people and society. It is the quality of the conception of the gesture which gives her work its power.
Hilary joined Arts Perspective International in Belgium in 2001 and regularly exhibited with them. After returning to Australia in 2005, she continued to exhibit and has consistently appeared as a finalist in competitions.
She has recently had a solo exhibition at The Lyceum Club in Melbourne and is currently working on a private commission and a collaborative project. (click the pic to keep on reading)
